communication ... 32 pieces in all. Logo, Learning Guide,
Posters, CD-ROM, Collateral, Stationery and ancillary products.
This was a monumental national launch which found its way
into a large portion of America's public schools. This remains
my largest, most in-depth project to date.
Meeting with Doctors, Teachers and Pathologists, renowned
in the Pacific Northwest, was perhaps the greatest learning
experience for a young designer. Hiring illustrators and photographers
was not far behind on the intimidation scale. 2AM meetings
with teachers who were writing for the project and scientists
who were overseeing its progress finally contributed to the
success of this project. Surprisingly, after presenting my
artistic case to a plethora of doctors in a closed-door meeting,
they accepted the final design solution and swept it through
to press, where we had another armada of problems to deal
with altogether.
No less than 32 printed pieces implemented into the science
curriculum of more than 1000 public schools nation wide.
